EDGE Dance Club

At Oakbrook Middle School, we offer a fun afterschool dance club for students interested in expanding their dance lessons.

 

EDGE Dance Club is open to any male or female 6th-8th grade student at OMS who is interested in furthering their technical dance skills, particularly those in jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. The EDGE Dance Club will learn additional skills and dances that we do not have time for in the typical classroom. There may be opportunity for some outside performances, such as home basketball games or OMS dance performances. This group helps inspire dancers to push themselves harder both in dance class and as a student. It also creates a strong bond and support group among our maturing dancers as they learn additional dance skills.

The first after school class will be on Wednesday, September 11th immediately after school until 5:00 in the OMS dance room. Click the button below for more information. All interested dancers MUST have a signed permission form before their first class day in order to attend.
